We started the renovation last July 30, 2013 hoping to have our house blessing on December 8, 2013 for the 11th birthday of Julia and Rafael. It didn't materialize, we're delayed for the date. Then I planned for January 8 but most of the furniture we ordered were not delivered on time. Again I hoped to have the house bless on February 8 to coincide with Juan's birthday but still to no avail because there were a lot of stuff to be fixed like the cable, phone, electrical and my kitchen.
I checked all the 8th day of the coming months. March 8 falls on a weekend so I told John that it's the best date for our house to be blessed in preparation for the coming Holy Week. With just 2 weeks to prepare, John and I quadrupled our time in buying the necessary things. Along with Mama, Ate Jo, Kuya Nold and Jomes, we tried to fix and clean everything that needs fixing and cleaning.

I invited a lot for this house blessing but because of the stress of the deadline I got sick a week before the date, then John got sick 2 days before the blessing so I messaged, txted and called everyone that we decided to have an intimate house blessing. We opted to share the blessing with the most important people who helped us achieve the house that we wanted, my cousin Engineer Virgil Alberto and our friend Architect Charles Tumpalan. Unfortunately, Kuya Virgil's sick so he wasn't able to join us.
After 8 months of waiting, our house blessing finally came true!!!

Our house will not be made possible without acknowledging my late Papa-in-law, Mama-in-law and Sis-in-law, Ate Peth for the great consideration she gave us. The house will not be renovated nicely without Architect Charles plan. The house will not be built the way we wanted it to be without Kuya-Engineer Virgil. Most importantly, our house will not be this nice without my husband's interior designing, puyat, pagod at kunsumisyon. Thanks, Tatay for your great effort!!!
